How to Switch to Lake National Bank
Step 1. Stop by one of our convenient offices to open your new account(s).
Step 2. Set up a direct deposit to your Lake National Bank account(s).
Send a completed Direct Deposit Form to your employer and other sources so your funds automatically can be deposited to your account. Some employers require you to complete a company form, so make sure you check with your human resources department. If you already have a deposit going to another financial institution, you also can use this form to direct those deposits to your account with us.
Completing a Sign-Up Form for Direct Deposit of Federal Benefit Payments is now required. Use this form if you are setting up a direct deposit for the first time. Otherwise, use the Direct Deposit Sign-Up Form to re-direct deposits currently going to another financial institution.
Step 3. Set up or re-direct an automatic payment.
Send the Automatic Payment Deduction Form to each company that has an automatic payment set up for you, or set up a new, automatic payment. Some typical examples include mortgage, car, insurance and utility payments.
Step 4. Close your old account.
Send the Account Closure Request Form to your previous financial institution to close your account(s). Make sure that all your final checks have cleared and your direct deposit(s), along with any automatic payment(s), have been processed through Lake National Bank before you close your old account.
At Lake National Bank, our staff is here to assist you in your transition. You can complete the forms now or visit one of our branches to have our staff help you – the choice is yours.
